OUR STORY

We're a small team building the career toolkit India deserved a long time ago.

CareerBuilder.in started because job hunting in India still meant stitching together five different tools, half of them built for a different country's hiring process. So we're building one place instead — resume tools, interview prep, roadmaps, and honest guidance, made for how hiring actually works here.

Career tools shouldn't feel like they were built for someone else's job market.

Most résumé builders, interview guides, and salary calculators online are built around US or European hiring norms — different resume formats, different interview styles, different salary structures entirely.

We're a small team building CareerBuilder.in around how hiring actually works in India: the ATS formats recruiters here actually use, the interview rounds Indian companies actually run, and salary data that reflects the Indian market — not a converted dollar figure.

Every toolkit we ship gets tested against real job descriptions and real interview loops before it goes live.

Built for Indian hiring

ATS formats, interview patterns, and salary bands calibrated to the Indian job market.

Free where it counts

The core toolkits stay free — we'd rather help more people than gate everything behind a paywall.

Shipped in the open

We build fast, ship often, and fix what's broken quickly — a small team means no layers between feedback and fixes.

What guides how we build.

A few principles we keep coming back to, on every toolkit we ship.

Practical over flashy

If a feature doesn't help someone get closer to a job, it doesn't ship — no matter how impressive it looks.

Your data stays yours

Resumes, test scores, and profile data are never sold. Full stop.

Built for every city

From metro tech hubs to tier-2 and tier-3 towns — the guidance is calibrated for where you actually are.

Always improving

We treat every tool as a work in progress — feedback goes straight into the next update.

How we got here.

01

The problem was personal

Job hunting shouldn't require ten different tabs open — a resume builder here, an interview guide there, a salary tool somewhere else, none of them built with Indian hiring in mind.

02

We started with one toolkit

Rather than launch everything at once, we built and tested one toolkit at a time — starting with the tools people needed most.

03

Now, one platform

Resume, cover letter, LinkedIn, interview prep, skill tests, and career roadmaps — all in one place, built specifically around Indian hiring.

04

Still building

CareerBuilder.in is actively growing — new toolkits, better guidance, and constant refinement based on what actually helps people land the job.

C B +

We're a small team, and we like it that way — it means every piece of feedback reaches the people actually building the product, and fixes ship fast instead of getting lost in process. If something feels off, tell us — we're reading.
